What is your most cherished family tradition?

When I was a kid, my mom declared that on your birthday you get to do whatever you want all day long — skip school or work, sleep in, travel, eat out, play golf, whatever. Being able to do exactly what you want is such a fun and special thing. It’s even better because you know the day is coming and can plan your own perfect birthday.
