What is your most cherished family tradition?

My mother used to make us queen or king for the day on our birthdays. She would fashion a crown out of aluminum foil, and we were allowed to order our siblings to do our chores. She cooked all our favorite foods and waited on us with great fanfare. It was fun and fair — we all had our day to be royalty.
