What is your most cherished family tradition?
Each year for my daughter’s birthday, we go to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and take her picture in front of a big dinosaur statue at the entrance. One day, looking at the photos — seeing herself being held, as a baby, next to the Diplodocus and the next year standing beside it on her own — will give her a sense of her growth and change against the backdrop of something large and permanent in our community.
