Problem: Snags
Solution: "Cutting a snag off can create a hole," says Rising.
Instead, she uses a sewing needle to push the scraggly bit through
to the inside of the garment, whether it's wool or delicate silk.
If the snag is difficult to push through, thread the needle and sew
through the snag to grab it. Keep a snag at bay by tying it in a
knot or dabbing it with clear nail polish but only if the garment
is made of a fabric thick enough that the polish won't bleed
through.
