    1. Stack the leaves in a neat pile, placing the larger leaves on the bottom.

    2. Roll the pile lengthwise as tightly as possible. Using a chef's or paring knife, slice across the bundle. The closer the slices, the thinner the shreds will be.

    3. Use your fingertips to fluff and separate the shreds.
