BEST FOR: Four or more worldly wordsmiths.
TIME: One to two hours.
OBJECT: The game cards contain 2,500 "long lost" sayings from
around the world. One player reads the start of the phrase, and
the others make up a plausible ending. When the answers both fake
and real are read aloud, you earn points for picking the
authentic one and for each vote your made-up answer receives.
LOWDOWN: The real answers are unpredictable ("The lame goat...does
not take a siesta"), and the "sayings" format encourages
creativity.
