Unless your art collection leans toward Salvador Dali, your
preference is probably for paintings that hang straight. But if
your pictures tend to tip every time a door slams, you may need the
new EverStraight Hanging System (from $2, for a one-inch hanger
that holds up to 10 pounds, to $4, for a seven-inch hanger that
holds up to 75 pounds;

Installation is easy:
Screw the white plastic hanger to the back of a frame, nail or
screw another to your wall (no level required), and hang the
picture by interlocking the two pieces. If the frame has a hanging
wire, mount the hanger to the wall, and place the wire in the
groove on its top. The hanger's platform allows for maximum
up-and-down and side-to-side adjustments, which is good for placing
pictures within a grouping.
