How are you dealing with the tough economy ?

I'm a single mother with two teenage boys, and I talk to them about money and include them in my decision making. We make certain to budget for fun things (like the movies we want to see together) so that we don't feel as if we're going without. Working as a team makes us feel closer and as if we can handle anything.
