Believe it or not, it is possible to make great holiday
cookies from widely available high-quality ready-made dough. No
sifting, no measuring, no creaming of butter, no shards of
eggshell at the bottom of the mixing bowl. Just roll the dough
out, cut into shapes, bake, and decorate. You can turn
out cookies by the baker's dozen and still have time left over
