What are your back-to-school traditions?
My mother always sent us off on the first day of the school year
with a French-toast-and-bacon breakfast. It is a family ritual
that I have continued with our two daughters from their first
day of kindergarten (they are both now in high school). Now that
we are all more calorie conscious, I do a "light" French-toast
recipe using skim milk and egg whites. And we usually skip the
bacon.
