Transform an old metal locker. Two coats of lilac paint — a perfect foil for the original mint green interior — will transform it into a hutch for linens, CDs, or dishes. (Later, when the charm of the lilac paint has worn off, it will make an ideal outdoor storage locker for garden tools.)
