How do you keep it all together?

I have a daughter and a son who both come home with art projects, newsletters, and papers to sign. To keep track of it all:

1. Each child has a large basket by the phone for school information we use often.
2. Anything that needs to be signed goes back the next day so it doesn't get lost.
3. Art projects and other items to be saved go into a large box. Sometime in July, we pull out the box and fill a scrapbook.
