How do you keep it all together?
The hardest thing for me to organize is the after-work/after-school
rush, but I've devised an assembly-line system that seems to help.
First, I make only easy meals for dinner and have them ready the
night before. As for lunches and school clothes, I get a week's
worth ready on Sunday night. I stack the kids' clothes into five
piles and pack the lunch bags (minus perishables) and store them in
the pantry. That way each night I just have to make a sandwich,
throw in some fruit, and ta-da! lunch is served.
