To clean leather boots, mix up this little concoction: half water, half white vinegar. Dab it onto a cotton rag (or a nylon-bristle brush if you're cleaning suede) and rub gently over the entire boot. Let dry. Repeat if needed. Four experts, each one a member of the Shoe-Service Institute of America, told us how to do it. And it worked.
