Which holiday traditions do you happily ignore?
I vividly remember huge home-cooked feasts for all the major
holidays throughout my childhood. But now that I'm in charge, my
family has a new tradition: Easter dinner is gyros; Christmas
breakfast is Danish, doughnuts, and juice; Thanksgiving dinner is
Chinese takeout. It saves me from preparing, cooking, and
cleaning, and leaves me time to spend with family.
