Which holiday traditions do you happily ignore?

A few years ago, I took the pressure off myself to have a perfectly decorated home, complete with a huge, heavily ornamented tree. Now only a few strings of white lights adorn my Douglas fir. It takes me minutes, rather than hours, to decorate. The tree has never looked more beautiful.
