Which holiday traditions do you happily ignore?

I no longer string popcorn and cranberries for the Christmas tree. In the past, our dog ate the entire strand of popcorn, and the cranberries left stains on everyone's clothes. I now stick to white and gold silk ornaments and twinkly white lights.
