How to Frame
Attach photos to the wall with a pinch of reusable
plastic adhesive (try Ross Tac'N Stik, $2 at craft stores). Center
a rectangle of glass over each photo (if you don't have negatives,
use copies, since glass can damage photos) and secure it to the
wall by hammering a small nail directly underneath and above it.
The glass should be an inch or two longer and wider than the photo
to create a framelike border. Here, four-by-six-inch snapshots are
topped with five-by-seven-inch pieces of glass. Glass, about $2
per piece (larger sizes available), MCS Industries; 800-833-3058
for store locations.
How to Arrange
Lay photos on a tabletop in a loose grid, allowing
two to three inches between each one. When you have an arrangement
you like, transfer it to the wall, starting at the upper left-hand
corner. Small photos, like the ones shown here, are best massed in
an intimate area over a desk in a home office, for example.
