What to Save: Current issues of magazines, past articles you may use for reference, and clipped articles that you'll read when you have more free time.

How to Save: Keep current issues in a magazine rack or a storage box. If a new issue arrives and you haven't read the old one, tear out any articles you want to read and place them in a "to read" folder for commutes or long waits at the doctor's office. File reference articles by subject (e.g., Culture, Kids, Home, Travel) in an accordion file, such as the Accordion File from Muji (shown here, 13 by 91/4 inches, $10, www.momastore.org).
