When you stain a shirt, you can take it off, put it in the sink, and start your attack. And now you can do the same with your carpet: InterfaceFlor offers new stain-resistant modular carpet tiles for the home. Available in a variety of colors and textures, Flor adhesive-backed carpet tiles (many of which are made of recycled materials) can be grouped together as an area rug or wall-to-wall carpeting and are conveniently shipped to your door. The tiles, approximately 20 by 20 inches, are small enough to clean in a sink. And if the stain is indelible, you can replace a damaged tile for less than $10 (the price varies depending on the style). Flor can be installed over hardwood floors, vinyl tile, laminates, concrete, or plywood. Bonus: If you get bored with your rug, rearrange the tiles for a new pattern.
