Q. Even after washing, my clothing is still covered in pet hair. How can I remove it?

A. Try an animal-specific detergent. Before laundering, use a lint brush to remove as much of the hair as possible. Then wash using a detergent rich in enzymes, such as Laundress Le Chien et Le Chat ($16, www.thelaundress.com); these cleaners break down hair and lint better than traditional laundry soaps. While the clothes are still damp, use a lint brush again to remove any last remaining hairs.
