The only proper way to end a picnic is with watermelon juice dripping down your chin. What could be more refreshing than a slice of the ultimate summer fruit — except maybe a watermelon ice pop? Just cut a melon into inch-thick triangular wedges (rind on the bottom), pierce each rind end with the tip of a knife, then slide in a Popsicle stick. Wrap each slice in plastic wrap and freeze for at least two hours, then unwrap and enjoy. (The pops are best eaten within a few days.)
