Work gear, such as the printer, is concealed behind the doors of the desk’s hutch. The bookcase stores magazines, photographs, and the kids’ papers and artwork. “Now that the room is so open and airy, we have meals there, even if it’s takeout, just to enjoy it,” says Kuae.
