Under a foyer window, stacked mirrors make an unexpected tabletop. “I start seeds here in the spring,” says Kim. “I thought the mirrors would reflect more light—I don’t know if it works.” She found one mirror in a thrift store and the other on a basement door when she moved in to the house: “I tried to take it down and it broke, but I like the way it looks.”
