Cholesterol: Your total cholesterol level should be less than 200, with HDL (good) cholesterol 60 or higher and LDL (bad) cholesterol under 129.
 
 Triglycerides: Keep your levels under 150.
 
 Blood Pressure: Maintain a balance below 120/80.

 C-Reactive Protein (CRP): For people with risk factors, a high CRP level (more than 3.0) can signal heart inflammation.
