Where to Turn If You...

Are newly diagnosed: cdc.gov/cancer/breast.  The Centers for Disease Control offer a solid overview of the disease and the latest treatments.

 Are 45 or younger and have breast cancer: youngsurvival.org. The Young Survival Coalition is geared to women your age.

 Want to keep up with the research: cancer.gov. The National Cancer Institute gives the latest studies and statistics in plain English.

 Want to be in a breast cancer study: armyofwomen.org. This program recruits cancer-free women to study how cancer develops in healthy bodies.

 Want to raise funds: avonbreastcare.org.  Avon’s two-day walks around the country raise money for research.
