Yahoo recently released its Year in Review, which highlights the top search trends of 2015. Our favorite category? Desserts, of course. Sweets on the list ranged from quick breads to cobbler—and we paired each one with a recipe, so you can enjoy them throughout the holidays and well into the new year.

We're not surprised banana bread tops this year's list—after all, it can be eaten for breakfast or dessert. This lightened-up version, which swaps applesauce for oil, is deliciously guilt-free.
