Ingredients

  1. Check 1 pint strawberries, stemmed and sliced
  2. Check 2tablespoons granulated sugar, or to taste
  3. Check 2tablespoons orange juice
  4. Check 2teaspoons grated orange rind
  5. Check 1 pint mango or orange sorbet
  6. Check 1 pint strawberry ice cream
  7. Check 1/2cup gingersnap crumbs
  8. Check 2tablespoons coarsely chopped crystallized ginger (optional)

Directions

  1. Toss strawberries, sugar, juice, and rind in a bowl and set aside. Place scoops of sorbet and ice cream in deep bowls or parfait glasses. Top with a layer of sauce, and repeat with another layer of sorbet and ice cream. Top with remaining sauce, crumbs, and ginger.
