Ingredients

  1. Check 1 pound sirloin steak (1-inch thick)
  2. Check 1/3 cup soy sauce
  3. Check 3 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons olive oil
  4. Check 1 small head of romaine, chopped
  5. Check 1/2 cup cilantro
  6. Check crumbled queso fresco or feta
  7. Check 1/4 small red onion, sliced
  8. Check 1 avocado, sliced
  9. Check 3 tablespoons lime juice
  10. Check kosher salt

Directions

  1. Marinate the  steak in soy sauce for 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the steak in 2 teaspoons of the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, 3 to 5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let rest 5 minutes, then slice against the grain.
  3. Toss the steak with the romaine, cilantro, queso fresco, onion, avocado, 3 tablespoons of the  olive oil, and lime juice; season with ½ teaspoon salt.
