Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the asparagus and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, until just tender. Drain.Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Sauté garlic until softened but not browned. Add the asparagus and sprinkle with salt and red pepper flakes. Sauté 2 to 3 minutes.

  3. Check 3 peeled and thinly sliced garlic cloves
  4. Check salt, to taste
  5. Check red pepper flakes, to taste
