Skillet Apple Cranberry Crisp

Make the topping: In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, almonds, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. In a 12-inch skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour mixture and cook, stirring often, until the mixture is golden brown and smells toasty, 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer to a plate. Wipe out the skillet.
