Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups long-grain brown rice
- 4 1/4 cups water
Directions
- Place the rice in a bowl and, using your fingers, rinse under cold running water until the water runs clear. Drain in a strainer.
- In a pot, bring the drained rice and the water to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until the water has been absorbed, about 40 minutes. Remove from heat and fluff gently with a fork to separate the grains.
