Makes enough for 1 1/2 to 2 pounds of steak

Ingredients

tablespoon
finely grated lemon zest
1
tablespoon
dried thyme
kosher salt and black pepper

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the lemon zest, thyme, 2 teaspoons salt, and 1 tablespoon pepper. Just before cooking, press the rub gently into 1½ to 2 pounds of steak to help it adhere.
