Quick Tip

Raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries
Look for cartons of berries that have firm, plump fruit. Remove any spoiled berries and store the rest unwashed (moisture hastens decay) in the refrigerator. Clean just before use. Berries freeze well; pour a few washed pints into resealable freezer bags and enjoy the sweet fruit during the winter.
