Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef chuck
  • kosher salt and black pepper
  • 4 ounces goat cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • relish, onion, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato for serving

Directions

  1. Form the meat into 4 patties and season with ¾ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties to desired doneness, 4 to 5 minutes per side.
  3. Top the burgers with the goat cheese and serve on the buns with desired toppings.
