Grilled Bread With Garlic and Tomato

Ingredients
- 16 thick slices of country bread
- 2 garlic cloves, cut in half
- 2 plum tomatoes, cut in half
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- kosher salt
Directions
- Heat oven to 325° F. Place bread on a baking sheet and toast for 10 minutes.
- Rub each slice of warm toasted bread with the garlic, then the tomatoes, smearing the pulp into the bread. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with 1⁄4 teaspoon salt.
