  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the vinegar, oil, rosemary, oregano, garlic, bay leaf, 1 teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon pepper. Place 1½ to 2 pounds of steak in the marinade and let sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or up to overnight.
