Garlic Oil and Pecorino Popcorn

Ingredients

microwave popcorn or 1/2 cup popcorn kernels

tablespoons
olive oil

cloves
garlic
1/2
cup
finely grated Pecorino or Parmesan cheese
1/2
teaspoon
salt

Directions

  1. Pop the popcorn according to the package directions.
  2. Heat the oil and garlic in a small saucepan over medium heat until golden, about 2 minutes. Discard the garlic.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the popcorn with the oil, Pecorino, and salt.
