  1. Cut any large strawberries in half. Place the berries in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze for 2 hours.
  2. In a blender, combine the sugar and cream or half-and-half. Blend for about 20 seconds or until the sugar dissolves. Add the frozen berries and purée. Divide the mixture among 4 glasses and garnish with the whole berries. Serve immediately.
