French Bread With Garlic

Ingredients

  • loaf of French bread
  • unsalted butter, to taste
  • garlic cloves
  • salt, to taste

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400º F or a grill to medium-high. Slice a French loaf in half lengthwise. Spread the halves with butter. 
  2. Mince garlic and sprinkle over the buttered bread. Add salt to taste.
  3. Put the halves together, wrap in foil, and place in oven or on a grill. Heat until the bread is golden, 15 to 20 minutes.
