Muddle the sugar and cucumber in a pitcher.

Add the lime juice and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add the gin or vodka and ¼ cup water and stir to combine.

Divide between 4 glasses. Top with ice and garnish with the basil.

  1. Check 1/4 cup sugar
  2. Check 1/2 English cucumber or 2 small Persian cucumbers, chopped
  3. Check 2/3 cup fresh lime juice
  4. Check 2/3 cup gin or vodka
  5. Check fresh basil, to garnish

Directions
