Cheese-End Fondue

Ingredients

  1. Check 1pound firm white cheese (such as Gruyere, Cheddar, or fontina), grated
  2. Check 1tablespoon cornstarch
  3. Check 1cup dry white wine

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, toss the cheese and cornstarch. In a medium saucepan, bring the wine to a boil. Gradually add the cheese mixture, whisking until melted and thickened, 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Serve with bread cubes, cooked potatoes, dried fruit, pears, apples, or grapes.
