Bibb Salad With Basil-Buttermilk Dressing

Bibb lettuce is the perfect tender green for the creamy, tart dressing. The basil gives the salad balance, while the radish adds a bit of bite and the walnuts contribute a rich buttery finish. All of the ingredients in this salad are easy to find at the supermarket, and the dish takes just 15 minutes to make. In other words, this recipe will likely become a go-to in your collection. If you’re pot lucking, assemble the salad ahead of time, and then toss with the dressing and garnish with walnuts and basil right before serving.
