Heat oven to 350° F. In a small bowl, toss together the panko, Parmesan, oil, oregano, ¾ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper.Place the tomatoes in a baking dish, overlapping them slightly. Sprinkle with the panko mixture and bake until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes. 

Ingredients

  1. Check 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  2. Check 1/2 cup grated Parmesan (2 ounces)
  3. Check 2 tablespoons olive oil
  4. Check 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  5. Check kosher salt and black pepper
  6. Check 1 1/2 pounds beefsteak tomatoes, sliced 1/2 inch thick
