Bagel With Prosciutto, Tomato, and Gruyère

Ingredients
- 1 poppy seed bagel
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 1 small tomato, sliced
- 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 ounces Gruyère or Cheddar, sliced
- black pepper
Directions
- Heat broiler.
- Split the bagel and, dividing evenly, top the bagel halves with the prosciutto, tomato, onion, and Gruyère.
- Broil until the cheese is melted and golden brown, 2 to 4 minutes.
- Sprinkle with ⅛ teaspoon pepper.
