Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup apricot jam
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • kosher salt

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, over medium heat, heat the butter, sugar, corn syrup, and jam, stirring, for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. 
  2. Stir in the cream, vanilla, and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Cool slightly. Spoon over ice cream.
